Jennifer Kernaghan is a Toronto, Ontario based photographer whose work is influenced by nature, geography and the small moments in time that make us pause. It is within these themes Jennifer is always exploring. Her use of texture and attention to detail help her to be inspired as a photographer. Jennifer has been educated at Ryerson, George Brown and the Avenue Road Art School. Learning about photography is a life-long passion.
Jennifer has photographed since she was 16 years old and she discovered the darkroom in her high school. Taking photographs has been a hobby for many years, showing pieces at various art shows and art auctions. Jennifer has also photographed events, growing families and has even experimented with documenting interior design. Her practice is rooted in her love for exploring and documenting, as long as a camera is in her hand she is content.
